We Prefer Hugs.

Morning musings as I slowly started this bonus public holiday.

I realized that

One, hugs are now my most precious currency.

A hug at the start & the end of the day, & I'm ready to go against the world for you.

Definitely one quirk that came with motherhood.

& two, saying 'I love you' is a luxury.

So in turn, that's my currency for others.

I'll tell you I love you even if you'll recoil at it.

I shall continue raising these little humans to not be afraid of affection, of physical touch, of their own feelings, & of letting those feelings be known.
