Look at us, that was one heck of a rebound.
Day 5 of MCO 2.0, 4000+ new cases just yesterday,
But if I zoom down into my microscopic world, I'm doing great.
MCO started just as I was finishing my menses,
So I was in a fantastic place mentally & hormonally.
Made the resolution of tackling one major task daily, & also meeting my steps target.
Day 5 & I'm on track.
& even though today I have been procrastinating my actual task (cleaning the master bedroom & bath), but I have addressed pretty much all of those annoying little to do's related to gardening,
Like repotting my pothos into the low terra cotta pot,
Getting rid of the dead cranberry hibiscus, repotting the zinnia into its pot, & rearranging & tidying my balcony,
& just the regular watering, fertilizing, & sprucing up what needs to be spruced.
I can now sit back, type, dig into a cheesecake, & just enjoy the view lol.
As for meeting my daily steps target thingy,
I have been uncharacteristically excited about jogging around the house.
Like literally, going on a slow jog from my living room, circling around bedrooms, into the kitchen, & around again.
Kinda fun seeing my fitness app showing about 30% of my daily steps as running.
Of course once I take it outdoors I just die,
But there's just something about a tight space that helps me maintain my pace better.
We'll see how this streak lasts though.
Tomorrow I'll be resuming my ganti puasa, the usual Isnin Khamis for two weeks,
& by then we'll be well into the PMS zone
Sooo yeah.
I'm just glad I'm at a point where I kinda fully understand my body & its cycles.
The whens & whys of binge eating, demotivation, bloatedness & weight gain, etc.
I guess 30's ain't that bad.
